Country Music Association chief Tammy Genovese resigns

<div><p>NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Reuters) - The Country Music Association's chief executive, Tammy Genovese, has resigned, the CMA Board of Directors said on Thursday.</p><p>Genovese, a 24-year veteran of the association, said she wanted to devote more time to her two children and pursue less stressful avenues.</p><p>The CMA will hire a firm to conduct a search for her successor, Board Chairman Randy Goodman said.
